Presentation of company services
NOVA VIZIJA d.d. offers the market a high-quality extensive information system for basic health care, SOVA, an advanced medical information system ProMEDICA, an integrated business-production information system for small, medium-sized and large companies, ProPIS, and a broad range of internet services and products (website creation, hosting, domain registration, creation of Internet applications). To provide comprehensive informatics management to our customers we have trained a team of experts specialised in computer and network equipment. Nova Vizija d.d. was also the founder and owner (1997 - 2007) of the established Slovene Internet directory Slowwwenia.com, available at http://www.slowwwenia.com.
The team, which today includes 35 regularly employed experts and at least as many regular, contracted outside collaborators, was able to organise themselves in such a way that, simultaneously and equally to the development of health care applications (our solutions are used in 60% of health centres in Slovenia - around 1,000,000 insureds, 80+ servers, 2000+ work stations), intensive development was also conducted on business applications, multimedia computer solutions for education, voice interface and complex Internet/intranet solutions.
As has already been said, business informatics, medical informatics, Internet and comprehensive computer services comprise the range that has been successfully marketed and developed by Nova Vizija for years. Rich experience in managing complex engineering projects for the establishment of information systems and quality staff potential give us a guarantee of comprehensive management of the following areas:

The Vision of the Company
Our vision is to become one of the leading software development houses in Slovenia with strong staffing, which will implement and set European standards on the Slovene informatics market. Our vision is also to create, as a result of Slovene expertise, integrated information systems for the needs of the meat processing, food and other industries. Moreover, we wish to meet the information needs in basic and private health care activities in Slovenia and abroad.
The History of the Company
The company Nova Vizija, Informacijski inženiring in svetovanje, d.o.o. (New Vision, Informational Engineering and Consulting, Inc.) was founded in 1998, having taken over the tradition, experience and success of the company Vizija d.o.o., which was established in 1989. The new company combines the knowledge and experience of experts who had by that time successfully developed information systems for hospital and basic health care activities in the environment of personal computers and server systems.
The idea of the founders was daring at the very start, namely to offer to the Slovene market at that time completely new technology of software on cheaper PCs, thus becoming a modern software development company comparable to contemporary global trends. In a period of relatively fast and balanced growth, the company also developed, in addition to medical informatics, applications and solutions for business-production systems with which Nova Vizija successfully established itself on the domestic market. In 1998 the company underwent content and ownership restructuring, and was renamed in accordance with the new policies - NOVA VIZIJA (New Vision). Throughout its years of operation Nova Vizija has developed into a modern software development company, employing more than 35 informatics, computer and marketing experts.
